Love is in the Air

February 10th, 2012

Lately, my life has been wonderfully abundant in love as I recently became an auntie to my first neice and one week prior, became reunited with a long-lost love. In fact, I was in the middle iof writing an e-mail reading, when I heard in my head, that I needed to check my Facebook. I told my friend Jen who was helping me type to leave the email and open up facebook. Much to her surprise, she opened facebook, wondering why I wanted to stop working in the middle of an email reading. As soon as the facebook page was open, I saw a friend request from Brian McCracken. I was speechless. All I could repeat was “Oh my god oh my god oh my god,” to which Jen replied “Is this a good oh my god or a bad oh my god?” “A good one… I think. I just know this is huge!” Before long, Brian and I were talking all night long every night and it was like time never passed even though the last time I was in love with Brian was 18 years prior to this encounter. I have not felt this connected loved and in love in many, many years. It just goes to show that the universe always has a bigger plan for us than the one we have for ourselves. Brian is like my better half and is able to complete my sentences and if I did not feel romanticly connected to him I would think we were siblings. Between enjoying the new addition to my family and spending time with my long-lost soulmate. Love is in the air!
I recently have also become a huge fan of an app called Instagram. This is an app that allows you to take pictures and share them with other Instagram account holders. Because of this new app, I have become reacquainted with my hobby, photography. In constantly looking for artistic images to capture moments of my life, I have gained a new respect for the miraculous artwork that God creates in every moment. For instance, the contrast in colors between the dark stained wood of a coffee table and the shiny irradescent metallic composition of my laptop. There are so many colors contrast and textures in every experience that every component of our enviroment can be viewed as a new masterpiece. From a spiritual perspective, this hobby helps me to stay in the present and cherish the magic of living in the now. With all the love and blessings that have encompassed my life over the last few weeks, I am soaking in every second. Never stop believing and knowing that God has an infinite amount of blessings waiting to share with each of you if you stay positive and appreciate the now any way, that works for you recognizing that love is in the air all around us.

The Magic of Mediumship and the Miracle of Spirit

January 26th, 2012

The more I do this work, the more amazed I become, on how perfectly designed the Universe and Spirit is. I recently did a reading for a young woman who lost her mother and as soon as her mother came in the room, her energy felt familiar to me. The reading went beautifully and because this young woman is getting married soon, she wanted to make sure she followed any of her mother’s wishes for the ceremony. Her mother came through strong, humorous and happy with all of her daughter’s choices and accomplishments. It is not uncommon for me to see Spirits. In fact, I am never alone in my house and it has become a comfort to me. However, because this wonderful woman has not been in Spirit very long, I could only see an outline of what she looked like. When the reading was complete, her daughter asked me if I would like to see a picture of her. Looking at the picture, I was even more sure that I knew this person. Then, all of a sudden, it dawned on me, this young lady’s mother had been very active in the South Florida chapter of the American Psychiatric Association, and on annual ocassions, I had heard this woman speak as I was a student getting my doctorate degree in Marriage and Family Counseling. At the end of every presentation, this woman would come over to me and acknowledge me, recognizing that I was the only student in a wheelchair, kiss me on the forehead, and tell me how much of an inspiration I was, and to continue following my dreams. I could not believe that we were reunited as I did a reading for her daughter. It goes to show, once more, what a small world we live in, and that we should do our best to be kind to one another, because you never know how we are connected to that person and other people we love. This young lady found me because I had done a reading for one of her close friends at the metaphysical church in Wilton Manors. This was yet another example of the magic of mediumship and the miracle of Spirit, proving that we are certainly never alone, and I believe those in Spirit are much more aware of what’s going on in our physical world, than we often are, while we are trying to navigate this crazy world we live in. I hope this story inspires all of you to be kind to one another and never cease to appreciate the miracle of Spirit.

Spiritual Growth-the Ups and Downs

January 11th, 2012

2012 thus far, has been great, filled with readings and blossoming opportunities. I have heard many people say that the more you choose to walk a spiritual path, the less you feel able to understand and connect with the physical world and people choosing to walk a different road. No two spiritual journeys are the same, and there are many ways to begin embarking on a spiritual adventure. However, in the recent weeks, I have recognized more and more that it is not uncommon for someone to claim seeking spiritual evolution, yet making decisions that contradict the evolutionary process. I recently was discussing with a friend how although there is something known as healthy competition, to seek triumphing over another, contradicts all the main practices of Kabbalah and Buddhism. In no way am I saying that a person should or shouldn’t manifest to be the best, and take steps to make that happen, the difference is when the steps knock someone else down in the process. A very wise person once told me, when they were preparing for a race, one of their mentors said, “You have put in all the hard work. The rest is up to destiny, and your destiny is already determined, therefore, if you are meant to win, you’ve already won. Just do your best and know the rest is in G-d’s hands and already recorded in your personal destiny log.” This was one of the most meaningful conversations that I ever shared with this person, bcause it helped me to understand that I play a crucial role in creating my future, but I certainly don’t control all of it by any means.

I, personally, am very ambitious and have dreams of serving large masses of people by allowing God to use me as an instrument to help heal in ways that become more apparent through meditation and dedication to understanding how to be open to allow God’s light in. It is more important for me, personally, to have a good night’s sleep, knowing I have done my best to be a good person and honor those I love, than to take a path that could lead to riches separate from spiritual gain. However, I believe it is possible to have financial riches as the universe has an endless supply for all, and yet, not compromise one’s spiritual journey. It is amazing how I also find myself falling apart from people who I believed with all my heart I would have a lifetime of memories with. Although this can, at times, be difficult, the gratitude that comes with understanding the hidden blessing in making better choices and learning valuable lessons before the losses are much greater, is unbelievable. The most recent invaluable lesson I finally comprehended is that although the present may not always be the easiest, I must learn to love, exist and live in each moment, recognizing the divine that exists in every struggle, every laugh, every tear and every interaction with animals and people alike. It is not until we learn to accept and live in the present, that God is able to grant us  more magnificent moments in the future because, after all, if we are able to imagine ourself being or doing something, we are able to make it a reality. Therefore, I ony recently began to truly live in the present, and cherish the divinity in its existence. The best example of living in the present, can be observed in watching our pets or other animals. For example, if our pet does something wrong and we reprimand them, moments later it is forgotten and they love us unconditionally, as they did before the negative interaction. Also, when we take the time to spend it with our pets, nothing else exists in their world but us at that moment. And they are 100% present, listening, loving and reciprocating without distraction or deviation from that experience. This is only one example of how much more evolved animals can be than humans. Another amazing thing I personally experienced recently was recognizing that I do not verbally, even have to call my kitty; I can think about her or call her in my mind, and she will come running. The only way that this is possible, is that she recognizes energetic pulls. This is a perfect example that this energetic pulls exist. After making this realization, I began to reflect on energetic pulls that I may be participating in, either in responding to them, or putting them out into the universe. If you are putting energy out in a particular direction and continuallly see no reciprocation or acknowledgement, maybe it is time to reevaluate how your energy is being distributed. By no means does this infer that there should be any kind of countersystem, but there should be a balance, where we allow ourselves to both give and receive energy, maintaining optimal spiritual health, which is the foundation for physical and mental health.

I am eternally grateful for the spiritual community of friends, and family in my life, and in 2012, I look forward to embracing this spiritual journey further as my desire to help, learn ,teach, laugh, meditate and grow, increases hourly. I hope that all of you find that you are able to use energetic descernment in creating a personal and professional circle of community that supports your own spiritual evolution. Love, light and blessings

Happy 2012

January 2nd, 2012

I am so excited about 2012. Originally, I thought 2011 was going to be really special, as it was an “angel” year, however I now understand that 2011 was all in preparation for 2012. There were many life-changing lessons that were learned in 2011, that will stay with me for the rest of my lifetime, and have contributed to my spiritual growth and understanding. All these lessons will serve as a new foundation for health, happiness and prosperity for all. One thing that has stood out to me in the last couple of months that I learned from the magnificent teacher, Oprah Winfrey, is that everyone wants to matter, and I am going to make more of an effort to let as many people know as possible that they matter, and that I am here to share in a spiritual journey together, if they should want, and in any case, do my best to see their inner divine light, really living the philosophy behind “namaste.” Another key aspect to my New Year’s resolution is to recognize that in helping others know they matter, I must first consider myself and recognize that I matter too. Although it is important to love everyone and try, as much as possible, to come from a place of love as much as possible, it is also equally important to invest energy wisely, to our benefit, not our detriment. In other words, 2012 can amplify spreading love, or equally important, love thyself. I will be doing a great deal of travelling this year, and look forward to meeting many of you, both in the U.S. and abroad. I also plan to share my gift to help promote and raise money for various charities, and continue to provide specials and sales, helping people afford to get a reading or help if they so desire.

On January 12, I will be at the Loving Lotus Center/Spa in Coral Springs, teaching a class on chakras, and crystals. Please go to their website for details. On January 13, I will be on Blogtalk Radio with host Cyndi Plume, on “Almost Heaven.” On January 19, I will be teaching a class on chakra health, and the power of crystals at Buddha Happy in Wilton Manors from 6-7 p.m. There will be many more upcoming events to follow so stay posted on Facebook and Twitter, to get the latest update. There is a new Facebook page called “A Mediumship or Psychic Reading Changed My Life.” This page, by no means, is to discuss my work alone. I want clients, readers and healers alike from all modalities, to share in a non-judgmental environment where we can uplift each other, so please “Like” the page, so our community can grow. I hope you all have a wonderful holiday and look forward to this new year, as I pray it brings blessings to us all. Love, light and blessings, Melissa

Dreams Come True

December 3rd, 2011

For the longest time, I have loved tattoos and the tattoo culture/community. It is so much more than ink on a body. Tattoos are a rite of passage, and a visual record of someone’s life journey as expressed on the body. As soon as I turned 18, I got my first tattoo. People often ask me if it is painful, but the joy I get from expressing myself, with the magic, creative gift of the artist, far outweighs any pain. To date, I have five tattoos, three of which have come from my favorite tattoo shop, High Voltage, in Hollywood, California. The most amazing experience happened with my second tattoo. I had been getting, intuitively, through a dream, to get a tattoo of an angel, and to make it considerably large, when I found myself out in L.A., attending a spiritual retreat, Spirit moved me to go into High Voltage and ask about an angel tattoo. An artist by the name of Mojo agreed to do it. I gave him very little description or detail about what I wanted. The only thing I told him is that I wanted an angel with wings, and the words, “Angels Live” in script underneath the tattoo. After tattooing me for seven and a-half hours, the piece was finally finished. I purposely did not view the tattoo until it was finished, and this tattoo was somewhat painful because of the long duration for its completion, however, once again, I was so overjoyed, the excitement largely outweighed the pain factor. The other crew members were so impressed by my strength and patience throughout the process, they bought me lunch! That is one of my most treasured experiences with regards to a tattoo, because when I finally looked at the finished tattoo, it was an exact replica of what my spirit guide, or angel, Robin looks like, when she appears to me in spirit or my mind’s eye, and I was soon brought to tears. I am unsure of how, exactly, that happened, or if Mojo understood the magnitude of the image as representing exactly how my guide, Robin, has appeared to me since the age of four. Anyway, after that experience, I became an even bigger supporter of Kat Von D., the owner of the shop, who I have always admired, because of her talent, strength and determination to be successful as a young female tattoo artist, in none other than La La Land. Of course, one of my dreams was, and is, to have a peace sign done by Kat herself, and I know when the time is right, it’ll happen.

I recently had Christmas come early, when a close friend bought me a VIP ticket to her exhibition, of the American Beauty illustrations Kat created, to launch a new make-up line for Sephora and to give back to charity. 100% of the proceeds from the event were being donated to an organization that has artists interact with sick children in the hospital through drawing and artwork. Just one more reason to love Kat Von D.. The event was taking place on the notorious Miami’s South Beach, and it was important to attain a wristband that allowed you to enter the launching party at 6:00 p.m. at the Sephora store on Collins Avenue. I woke up early that morning, on December 1st, and did an hour meditation, asking and visualizing that I get the opportunity to have a conversation with Kat, as after reading both of her books, and watching episodes of her hit reality show, L.A. Ink, I recognized that she was a spiritual person and we would have a lot in common, if given the chance to meet. I knew that many people would arrive early, so I began my journey to South Beach (an hour and a half drive) at 8:30 in the morning, to ensure that I arrived by the time the doors opened. As the handicapped accessible cab I ordered, pulled up to the Sephora on Collins Avenue, there was already a line outside the door, of people waiting to get their wristbands. I was the first person to arrive at the counter and received my red Kat von D. wristband, which was immediately placed on my left wrist, so that I would be ready for the evening’s events. I was so happy to arrive early, as doing so allowed me the opportunity to examine and marvel over the amazing talent Kat displayed in the eight pieces that she created for the exhibition. As part of the VIP ticket price, we were able to get a print of one of the eight pieces signed by Kat. If I had had enough money, I could have easily purchased all , because they were each extraordinary in their own right. However, I chose the one print that was a portrait because portrait work is what Kat is classically known for, and the print was entitled “American Beauty.” The other pieces included one titled “Altruism” that displayed old lock and key combinations, and although I did not get the chance to ask Kat about her personal interpretation of the piece, for me, I saw the piece as expressing that altruism towards others and animals is the key to happiness, love and peace. The next piece was titled “Independence” and was a beautiful wing that was extremely detailed and, of course, this symbolized the freedoms that we often take for granted, a gift provided by our independence. Then, I noticed the sketch entitled “Creativity,” and it was a blossoming rose that was settled in the corner of a page filled with shadows and dimension that made it look like you could pick it up right off of the paper. For me, personally, I saw this portrait as expressing that we all continue to blossom if we are on a creative path, and although shadows sometimes overpower our desire for success, or efforts toward a particular goal, if we keep moving forward and having hope, there is no alternative other than to bloom. Then, there was this magnificent drawing of a chandelier entitled “Strength,” and it had remnants of history, culture and perseverance. Therefore, for me it represented standing the test of time, and never losing its character or artistic beauty. “Individualism” was a sketch of the most beautiful eye and to me, it was the perfet example of how the eyes are the window of the soul, and regardless of our background, race, or experiences, we each have an individual window that is connected to our soul and it is when we look into each other’s eyes, that we can recognize the beauty in differences.  The piece that I chose was entitled “American Beauty,” and it was a full portrait of a beautiful woman’s face. The next piece was an hourglass entitled “Presence.” For me, once again, this piece represents how quickly time slips away and why, for that reason, it is so important to be present in each moment and cherish it as a single commodity, that over time, adds up to the essence of how your time was spent, on this planet. The last piece, entitled “Wisdom,” embodied a stack of books that surrounded a skull, and a book opened wide in front of the skull. For me, personally, I interpreted this piece to express the importance to continue to learn even after our demise on the earth plane, and it is the wisdom that we acquire through the learning/living process of our lives, that determines how our wisdom is spread and carried on even after our passing and well on into the next life. There were also many different shading techniques that indicate the light and dark that a person may find themselves submerged in throughout their life’s journey. I hope that Kat does not take offense to my liberty of interpreting her work, but this was only my experience of immersing myself in her creative gift. For the rest of the day, I did readings on South Beach, while sitting by the ocean, and enjoying the ethnic delectable food choices provided by Collins Avenue. It was truly a wonderful day. Then, before I knew it, it was time to head back to Spehora for the event. Once again, I was the first person in, and before long, Kat entered the store from the back entrance. Everyone quickly scurried to the front of the store, to catch a glimpse of her. After several prompts by the personnel, I slowly began approaching the front. After I had received a wonderful make-over, by a magnificent make-up artist by the name of Melissa, (who was so spiritually connected that she had beautiful energy), we instantly connected. It turns out that she, too, beluieves in intuition and paying it forwad. I know that I will meet her gain, and we will maintiain a friendship because it felt like I had known her for years. Before long, I made it to the front of the store, where Kat was greeting everyone, and getting bombarded by photographers. I felt, at that moment, that time had stopped. I was taking in every second, in an effort to be completely present. As I knew this was one experience, that I would rarely, if ever, have again. the chance to watch the dance between such a dynamic and talented artist and her adoring fans. Before long, one of the personnel at Sephora got Kat’s attention, and introduced her to me. She immediately knelt down to my eye level, and began speaking to me directly, as though there were no one else in the room. Trying to hide my nervousness, and overflowing heart I handed her my book that I had personalized for her, as well as a bracelet that I had personally made to assist her with meditation and strengthening the heart chakra, although this is one person who is very loving and has an overflowing heart, because she gives so much, it never hutrts to get a little boost. I told her that Christmas had come early for me, and wished her a “Merry Christmas.” She took several photographs with me, personalized my print, and we discussed several things including the story behind my tattoo of Robin. Kat is every bit as gracious, kind, has integrity and gratitude, as I could feel the sincerity in our interaction, and both of us felt as though it would not be our last encounter with one another. I even asked her how she felt about designing a wheelchair for my upcoming appearances and projects, and she was thrilled and excited to consider various options and let me know how to proceed. No matter what happens, I will always be an admirer of Kat’s and I only hope G-d and the Universe allow us to connect again at High Voltage. This blog details how you never know how and when a dream can come true, and I am forever grateful for the experience.

The Importance of Staying in the Now while Time Keeps Moving

November 15th, 2011

I recently have been blessed with a very busy schedule and had the honor of doing many beautiful readings for people from all backgrounds. Whenever I see someone heal right before my eyes, during or after a reading, it just reinforces that I am on the right path, and fills my heart with a feeling of gratitude - to have, and share, the gifts that I have. I also am blessed with new opportunities on the horizon to do my work on a grander scale that exceeds my wildest imagination. In fact, today, is a pivotal moment in which opportunities will come into fruition. So, please, cross your fingers and say a prayer. Although I know whatever the outcome, it is divinely determined and in the larger scheme of things, would be in my best interest, but a little finger-crossing never hurts!

I am a little disappointed because I will not be able to go to Australia and see many of my fans and loved ones, and, of course, my mentors and family, Lisa Williams and Holly Riddel, at their wonderful Bliss group event. If you get the chance, don’t miss it. It will, for sure, be life-changing. With that being said, I am still hoping that God and the Universe will find a way to get me “Down Under” for the Christmas season, to be with my soul family and have the honor of becoming a Godmother. I truly believe that the holiday season is definitely a time when miracles occur in multitudes, and maybe I will be lucky enough to be granted one this holiday season! Another important reminder I have had reinforced lately, is the importance of being present in the moment, and cherishing the little things in life. On Saturday, after a beautiful meditation, I heard my guide, Robin, tell me to let my kitty-cat be my teacher, in terms of living in the now, and it got me to thinking, how highly evolved and beautiful animals truly are. They never hold on to the past and when we take time to love them or show them attention, they are so present in that moment, giving you their undivided attention, without the distraction of texts, computers, Ipads, etc. They savor every moment and become so consumed with gratitude and love in return, that it is almost like their bodies can not contain it. Foe example, my kitty begins to purr so loud, she sounds like a monster truck, and puppies, on the other hand, begin wiggling and wagging their tails so hard that sometimes their tails look like an airplane propellor is about to lift them off the ground. Sometimes, we are so busy concentrating on the next goal or our daily agenda, that much of our life passes us by, with little to no notice until something drastic happens that stops us in our tracks. Therefore, if we make an effort to recognize the beauty and the divine presence in small things in life, staying connected to the present, perhaps it can serve as a preventive measure to needing those drastic wake-up calls. Just a thought. In a time when our economy is still struggling, try hard , this holiday season, to recognize the things that you do have, rather than what is absent or on the “To Buy” list. There is nothing more priceless than one’s health and the health of our loved ones, and as I said this time last year, if you have found a way to read this blog on a computer, you have access to internet, news and knowledge, and that is a luxury for those in third world countries, or those denied access because of political domination, so consider yourself blessed. Thus, the message in this blog is granting yourself the gift of recognizing the importance of staying in the now, while time is perpetually moving forward.

Happy Halloween! Hope Your Time is Spooktacular!

October 30th, 2011

Wow! Life has been quite a whirlwind lately. I’m not sure what’s going on, astrologically, but it seems like this last week was full of major chaos. I’m thankful that it was not my personal chaos, but many people that I love deeply were going through some very trying family and personal struggles. As a lightworker, we always want to spread as much light and help as much as possible, and I’m thankful that God and the angels gave me the strength to do that on a large scale, where now things are getting back to normal, and those that were greatly in need of prayer and healing are doing better.  On a happy note, I have been working diligently on new projects for TVLand! Will keep you informed as new information becomes available. I’m also excited to announce that I am well on my way into the next book, and have children’s stories much further along.

I love this time of year, because it is a time that we can, for one day, pretend to be something we’re not, taking on the identity of an admired icon or facade that we think would be fun for a day. In fact, Halloween is one day where, even as adults, we can play dress-up and eat candy. I have been offering many Halloween specials in the spirit of all that is spooky, and paranormalicious. This time of year is kind of a great time to be able to speak to those that have passed, because haunting ghosts exemplify Halloween. I also have been an active member in Oprah’s Life class every night at 8:00, and I have learned far more from these delectable hours of television than what I have learned through a lifetime of living. Two of my favorite lessons that I will remember every moment, for the rest of my ife, are when someone shows you who they are, believe them, and when they prove it to you, over time, you have no right to be mad, because you were shown the make-up of their character way before it became undeniable. The other lesson is that our personality and who we are, in this lifetime, is only a small percentage of who we are as light, spiritual beings, and if we can learn to recognize that whatever hurdles we are facing in the moment, they are but only the smallest fraction of possibilities of what our life can be. They do not have to define who we are and, no matter how difficult life is, try and embrace joy, even in the smallest amount, because joy in the end, is a choice, and completely made of perception that initiates from the infinite light that resides at the center of our soul.

I think we are at a time when spiritual development is at an all-time high and there are major shifts in consciousness that are taking place, evident in current mainstream media interests. For example, Oprah has developed her enlightening network, Anderson Cooper invited John Edwards on his show, and Lisa Williams will be investigating hauntings at Cooper’s house on tomorrow night’s show. Awesome! Don’t miss it! I hope your Halloween is safe , fun and spooktacular!

The Extraordinary Experience of The L.A. Expo

October 10th, 2011

In the beginning of this month, I was lucky enough to be a keynote speaker at the ConsciousLife Expo. The experience was remarkable because I was able to share healing messages and knowledge about mediumship that I later learned was life-changing for those that attended. I felt right at home, sharing my gift and I learned, once more, that my life is led by spirit and I am only the instrument. A perfect example was the fact that in one gallery, I ended up reading for members of the sound team, and in the following gallery, I read for a member of the video team, and a member of the media who attended the Expo to critique speakers holding events. Therefore, I realized relatively quickly that I was only the messenger, and my guide, Robin, and God or Spirit were the navigators.

As miraculous as the events were, I experienced a spiritual healing that is hard to put into words. A friend of one of the attendees, who is from France, came into town the second dday of the Expo, and after the attendee met me at my first event, she told her friends from France they must come to the Expo to meet me. They typically do not venture out when they are in the States for some R & R, however, when their friend told them about me, they agreed to come to the Expo to meet me. I was then blessed to do a reading for two of the most remarkable spiritual healers I have ever met. They have travelled the world to do group healings, and have worked with a number of world renowned lightworkers, such as John of God and others, and I was lucky enough to have a private healing session with Jean-Michel Bosc, (the man from France). The entire experience was awe-inspiring, beginning with the fact that the entire hotel was buzzing with people, coming oand going in every direction, and when Jean-Michel asked me if I wanted a private healing, he began looking for a quiet, private place. To our dismay, every door to an empty room was locked. All of a sudden, he stood up and had me follow him, where we found one hallway that was completely vacant. Jean-Michel is a petite man, with eyes that look twenty years younger than his physical body, and these eyes told the story of a kind, gentle lightworker, whose mission is to heal and serve others. The next thing I knew, he took my hand and I felt this warm, soothing energy all through my body, and my heart chakra immediately felt connected to his. Then, he proceeded to ask me to close my eyes, as he began praying in French, I pieced together from my three years of French in high school and college, bits and pieces of what he was praying for. He was asking that I allow the Divine Holy light enter into my body, allowing me to recognize my gifts and how to serve God in the highest capacity. Although I was not able to understand everything he was doing, on a soul level, my spirit did, and since this experience, my gifts have come more easily as well as my understanding of spiritual meaning behind events and interactions with people. Before long, my guide, Robin, told me to open my eyes, and I will never forget what I saw. The entire hallway that spanned a good 7 feet long, was filled with a glowing, white light, much like that white light tunnel that you hear people describe during a near-death experience. In fact, I was brought to tears because the energy that permeated the space was the purest form I’d ever felt, and the only thing I could see was myself, Jean-Michel and my guide, Robin, who stood dutifully to my left side with her wings spread over me, as if to help Jean-Michel’s wife hold the sacred space where this healing was taking place. At the end, Jean-Michel sat down again, in the chair, as we all sat silently, smiling at each other, reveling in the experience that had just taken place. Although this is the best I can do in terms of describing the experience, words can not begin to describe either the experience, or the aftermath effect that has continued to settle in my energy a week and one-half later. I have a peace and a knowing that I am on the right path, like I have never had before, and I have a tremendous amount of energy and crave, for the most part, only healthy foods to put in my body. Also, the most incredible opportunities have surfaced since returning from the Expo, and I am eternally grateful for everything. It only goes to show that when you embrace an experience with an open mind, body and soul, the possibilities for transformation and blessings are endless. I wish you all a happy New Year, and that you have the opportunity to face life with the same healing, peaceful approach that I am lucky to carry with me after meeting Jean-Michel Bosc. Thus, remember to keep your head up and god will grant you with an endless supply of blessings. Love, light and blessings, Melissa

New Chapter, New Inspiration and New Year All Rolled Into One

September 20th, 2011

I love this time of year, even though it is the marker for the last quarter of the year. I always consider it to be a new beginning, in light of the fact that I study Kabbalah and, according to the Jewish calendar, the New Year begins next week, on Rosh Hashannah. I, for one, truly feel like a new beginning is on the horizon as all of these exciting career opportunities are finally coming into fruition. As I mentioned in my previous blog, I will be attending the Conscious Life Expo in L.A. Sept. 30-Oct. 2, so go to this link for more information and to purchase your tickets.     I will be doing several large shows and teaching a 3-hour workshop on developing mediumship skills, and, finally, a Q & A live interview about my book. There are other television and screen projects that I have been nurturing for quite some time, and they, too, seem to be blossoming into beautiful projects that I will be able to elaborate on very soon. I also will be performing a live gallery in West Palm Beach this Friday, the 23rd, from 7-9, at 528 South Haverhill Rd., between Southern Blvd and Summit Blvd at a metaphysical church. Hope to see you there.  On a more spiritual note, I think it’s important to share with everyone how special this time of year is in terms of miracles and blessings. This is the time when prayer is a great practice to open your heart and reveal the wishes and desires for a healthy, happy and prosperous new beginning.

I recently heard the best quote from tha late Bob Dylan, and it is my wish that all of you, at some point during your lives, have this situation ring true for you. Know that it is never too late. The quote was as follows: “Success is when you wake up every morning and go to sleep every night and in between, you are doing what you love.” Another realization I had recently involved the importance of thinking outside the box. Many of us tend to be planners and, as such, we try and plan how and when opportunity or success will present itself. However, if we learn to have faith and think outside the box, in terms of being innovative and flexible, with how these blessings manifest, G-d and our angels and guides, will always be creative and surprise us with how these events take form. It is my prayer that this new year is filled with new inspiration marking a new chapter for all of you filled with growth, peace, happiness and health all rolled into one. Love, light and blessings.

So Excited about Fall Events and Falling into a New Chapter

September 5th, 2011

September 30-October 3, I will be a keynote speaker at the ConsciousLife Expo in L.A.. There, I will be holding large mediumship galleries and teaching a 3-hour workshop on developing one’s mediumship ability. If you are going to be in the Los Angeles area during this time, please attend. It is going to be a great expo with lots of various keynote speakers and presenters from all different backgrounds. Here is the link.  Please check it out! If you click on my name, you can see all the different events that I will be doing as part of the expo. I also will begin having my own segment on Coast to Coast radio in the next week or so, once a week, so please stay posted to get the latest news with regards to all the different, exciting things that are coming up.

I am still in the process of trying to find some resolution with regards to my puppies, so please continue to pray for an amicable outcome. I am beginning to understand that the unfortunate events that ocurred with regard to my dogs, did so as a catapult to create an emotional investment and passion for the  rights of the disabled as well as animals. I have always been very passionate about both of these issues, but never considered myself an “activist” in these areas until now. If need be, I am trying to come up with different ideas to generate money in the hopes of raising enough to purchase and care for a King Charles Cavalier spaniel puppy that can also be trained as a companion therapy dog for me, much like my beloved Chaz. Although it is difficult for me to consider replacing him, or any of my other babies for that matter, I feel the emotional need to have the companionship in my home, both for safety and personal happiness, because there is no bond like the bond shared between an owner and their service dog. If any of you have ideas on how to organize an event, or raise money to this end, please do not hesitate to contact me at   and subject the email “ESA” (emotional support animal info).

I have also once again learned from my current experiences, that it is true, now more than ever, that it is vital to tell those you love that you love them often, and every day, because you never know when things can change. Change is the one constant that we can count on, so tell your partner/spouse/children/sister/brother/husband/neighbor and puppies or pets that you love them as well.  Also, I’m excited to announce that I will be resuming my Psychic in your Pocket, and starting my Psychic in your Backpack very soon, so stay posted. Excited to be falling into a new chapter in my life and so grateful that I can share this new beginning with each of you. Much love and light, as always, Melissa
