Summer Blessings-in the Words of Katy Perry, “Let Light In”

Thursday, July 10th, 2014

Summer is a whirlwind of emotions and blessings, so far. I recently joined a yoga clothing company from Miami to promote and represent the spiritual community. Details on that to come very soon, but I am thrilled to support our South Florida spiritual enlightenment movement and the expansion of consciousness. I recently found out, this month, that I will be joining together with this amazing organization, product and community, representing those of us who do wheelchair yoga! Getting ready to strike a pose, yoga-style. Lol!

I also will be joining forces with another South Florida business, that custom makes crystal decor, to heighten the vibrational atmosphere of both your home and work environment.  Details on that will come shortly as well.

I am blessed to expand my international client base, recently reading for clients in Barcelona, Argentina, Hong Kong, India, and Indonesia. Though I am eternally grateful to share gods love and Spirit’s amazing gifts worldwide, I have recently in meditation, discovered the internal desire to support and collaborate with local businesses of South Florida to give back to the diverse ethnic and enlightened community that has been my home, for the last fifteen years in South Florida.

As many of you know, my other passion where I strive to advocate for children and the community, both worldwide and locally, is children battling childhood cancer, and children, adolescents and/or adults who are on the Autism spectrum. Much of my energy healing is currently focused on these two populations.

That being said, many of you know I dearly love Talia Joy Castellano, who lost her life on July 16th at 11:22 am, 2013, to childhood cancer. For that reason, I have started a fundraising campaign, http://give.acco.org/fundraise?fcid=327295 to raise money in her name from her legacy, to allow little girls battling cancer to receive make-up makeovers. The goal is to raise $100. The minimum is just one dollar and I need to raise the money by July 30th. So, please, my little pocket pixies, let’s band together and spread some magic for these little courageous fighters.  I have definitely felt Talia’s presence recently, as I was gifted tickets to Katy Perry’s Prism World Tour, and I asked Talia to join me. As I was looking at Katy’s tour T-shirts, I was completely shocked that one T-shirt cost $45. Obviously, I had not been to a concert in some time, as the prices have almost doubled! As I was looking at a beautiful pastel colored Katy Perry T-shirt, the merchandise clerk told me the lady behind me had paid for a shirt for me! I know this was truly a gift from Talia, because whenever I connect with her and ask her to join me, she incredibly finds a way to get me things for free! Of course, I thanked the woman behind me, repeatedly, and not to my surprise, she said, “it was my pleasure. I don’t know what come over me. I just had to buy it for you!” I didn’t tell the lady,  but I know exactly what came over her-a little angel named Talia!

Prism is the perfect name for Katy’s album and concert because the energy of the music, theme, and lyrics embrace spiritual topics such as functioning on a high vibration, unconditional love, inner strength and being present in the moment. I have always been a huge fan of Katy’s from the very beginning, and this latest album only amplifies and embodies my admiration for her as an artist. Her opening act, Ferras, is equally amazing. It was such a pleasure to watch his aura change, in sync with the theme and energy of each of his songs.  his music also embodies spiritual undertones and self-reflection from an honest and healing standpoint that can transcend across genders and cultural backgrounds. When I heard his new album, named after him, I fell in love. Then, after seeing him perform live, I wanted to tell him what was occurring, energetically to his aura, and let him know, he,most certainly, is following his life path and doing what he’s supposed to be doing, sharing his artistry. My favorite songs are “Champagne,” “speak in Tongues” and an amazing duet with Katy Perry, called, “Legends Never Die.” The first night I missed his “Meet and Greet” with fan base, but, intuitively,I knew another opportunity would come about.

In true Katy style, katy entered the stage through the floor, Ina beautiful indigo colored prism, singing her song, “Part of Me,” and the latest anthem, “Roar,” in Katy style and gusto, in a white shimmery dress, trimmed in glow stick colors, that illuminated her body in all the right places. She didn’t disappoint performing “Dark Horse,” in Egyptian attire, in an amazing mechanical horse, “walking on air” complete with aerial acrobats and silk cloths that resembled clouds draped over the audience, who were embedded in a triangle-shaped pit, in the front of the stage. Katy declared her love and admiration for her fans before serenading a full stadium with the song, “Unconditionally,” where she comes out onstage in traditional Katy-style, with her voice and a guitar, complete with a rainbow dress, pastel matching hair, and an amazing white sparkly cape, that also fanned out underneath to look like rays of a rainbow.

The first encore embraced the nostalgic,happy-vibe energy of the California Dream tour as she danced rave style to “Teenage Dream,” “California Girls,” “E.T.” And “TGIF.” In The second encore, she serenaded the auditorium with “Birthday,” as she was airlifted over the audience on a swing that looked like it was being lifted by birthday balloons, in a suit that was nude in color, but covered in what looked like cartoon tattoos. Her final encore, was in a huge ball gown that looked like a firework sprouting out over her leg, with live fire and video illumination that resembled a real-life firework show. Then, to all of the Katycats’ dismay, she disappeared once again into the prism , and was swallowed up by the stage, after a two and a half-hour adrenaline-filled, celebratory concert. Needless to say, it exceeded my expectations beyond my imagination.

The following day, I was delighted to learn that a college friend of mine was working in the public relations department of Ticketmaster, and he secured two tickets to the Miami arena where Katy had her second concert in South Florida.Fortuately, this time I  made it to theMeet and Greet with Ferras, and to my delight, he was humble, genuine, and touched to hear my description of his aura, as he performed and followed his life purpose as an artist. If you have an opportunity to go to Katy’s concert, do not miss it,because the Prism world  tour will illuminate your heart and inspire your spirit, for years to come. in whatever way you can, whether it is through the inspiration  of Ferras or Katy, or supporting a cause, or group of people, such as children on the autism spectrum, or children fighting cancer, find a way to ignite a spark in your heart, and let that light find its way out as you let more light into the world.

The Journey of Life Gives Us Direction,But Spirit or G-d, Creates the Definition

Friday, August 30th, 2013

It seems as of late, I keep being asked by various people in various situations, if I consider myself a psychic, a medium, an animal communicator or a medical intuitive. This is a hard question for me because I really consider myself to be all of those things equally. When you work with Spirit every day, it’s not so much about defining the capacity in which that happens, but adjusting yourself as a vessel to accommodate whatever it is Spirit is leading you into, in any given situation. I can say that, consciously, I had my first mediumship experience at the age of seven. I saw a young girl who was in spirit, dressed in time period clothing, complete with a bonnet, long dress and an apron, and she was a bit translucent and blue in color. For me, when a spirit has been in spirit for a long time, the energy takes on a a blue hue, indicating that there is no association at all with the physical existence. However, after recently going through some of my old journals, I came across an entry that I wrote at age twelve, where my great aunt told a story about when I was four and apparently, I was in the passenger seat as she was driving, and I told her to go home differently because there was a “bang” in the street. It turns out, there was a four car pile-up blocking all lanes of traffic on the route that we typically took home from the grocery store. Therefore, it must have been a psychic vision at the tender age of four, that I experienced. This makes sense, because, typically, psychic development precedes mediumship. As I was taught by John Holland, all mediums are psychic but not all psychics are mediums. After teaching for several years, I can indeed say this is a true phenomenon. Having had spiritual experiences very early on, I don’t really identify myself one over the other, but because I actually remember my first experience being one of mediumship, I tend to identify myself as a medium more readily.

Then, there is the world of animal communication. I have been communicating with animals before I was even verbal. Dogs and cats would approach me all the time, and my grandmother used to say it was like we were talking. For years, I was terrified of big dogs, because around the age of five, I was sitting outside on the cement steps, in front of the house, and the neighbors had gotten a huge St. Bernard, and I literally looked in the direction of the dog, and this massive puppy that was already the size of a small pony, came charging in my direction, of course, just wanting to give kisses, but his loving knocked me over and I spontaneously rolled down the steps. Thankfully, I now understand animal communication and I love all animals dearly, even snakes which I have a bit of a fear of, but at the same time, I have a deep respect for them. One of my greatest joys is doing mediumship readings for owners of deceased pets. Obviously, animals can not verbally speak in the same way as human spirits do, but they communicate through symbolism and, certainly, are equally capable of communicating their messages.

As far as identifying myself as someone who is in this field, that has definitely become easier, in part because I am deeply humbled and proud to be a Servant of Spirit, or G-d, through my work, and also because more of the general public are open to the metaphysical field, in large part due to Lisa Williams, John Holland, John Edward, and currently, The Long Island Medium, who have helped the field be represented in the medium of both  television and radio.

The medical intuitive component of my work definitely stems from my training as a therapist, and watching how different physical and/or mental conditions and ingested substances alter a person’s physical energy. however, once again, my childhood experiences were preparation, as I spent a great deal of time in medical settings, seeing different energies in people with different conditions or problems, and early on, I wanted to be a doctor. I would even play doctor with my dolls, and place my hands on the doll, pretending to heal them by touch. Of course, now I know that any healing that takes place for a client, has little to do with me, but is Spirit, or G-d, using me as an instrument to bring whatever is needed during a medial intuitive reading or an energy healing. The bottom line is no matter how difficult life may seem at times, there is always a bigger picture that we, consciously, have no awareness of, but it is okay, because G-d always has the map ,or the bigger picture, and the more we trust and let ourselves be led by Spirit, the harder it becomes to pinpoint exactly who we are, in terms of a career, because G-d continuously has us grow, expanding that definition in ways we have not even dreamed of.
