How to Make Real Life a Livable Fairy Tale-Let’s Go to the Movies and Beyond

Tuesday, June 17th, 2014

I love writing! Writing allows for expression and creating, while connecting with the minds and hearts of others all over the world. Many say that this technological whirlwind we live in is separating people, because devices are building a wall, killing face-to-face contact. although I agree, all too often, we find ourselves sitting in front of a device rather than sitting in front of each other. There is a part of me that loves social media and the ability to connect with someone worldwide. Indeed, we can’t stare into each other’s eyes, but we can support each other and relate to the triumphs and struggles that we have on this journey we call life.

The movie industry is a beautiful example of how thè element of entertainment can, at first glance, separate us, when obviously, at a movie, we are not talking to each other, but these different forums of expression allow for a different kind of connection. As an audience member, we can go to see a motion picture with a friend, and both become immersed in the storyline, not needing to communicate at that moment, other than holding each other’s hand for support, passing each other a tissue, or laughing at the same comic moment, as the story unfolds. I have always loved going to the movies, because it creates a world of escape and fantasy, the chance to abandon our own journey for two hours, watching others triumph over obstacles and yet, we can come away with the knowledge or the armor that they used to do so.

I recently saw the movie, Maleficent, The background story of the notorious villain, Maleficent, in Sleeping Beauty. What brought her to the callous moment of placing a curse on a beautiful, innocent princess. Not only do we get the chance to understand that 99per cent of the time, even Negative, or villainous, people in real life, are not born that way. They are a collection of events, energy and the individual wrapped up in the unfolding of an unfortunate story that brings them to the present moment in life, where their villainous,or negative, tendencies are expressed. One of my favorite moments in the movie is when Maleficent acknowledges that she is both the villain and the hero of her story. Of course, Maleficent is completely fantasy, and a fairy tale. But, the message of triumph and self-deflection transcends into our real life story, because, let’s face it, aren’t all of us, at some point, a villain and a hero?

speaking from personal experience, even the most loving, triumphant efforts, when taken out of context, or perceived from outsiders, can be twisted and manipulated to present itself as a villainous act. In The famous words of Madonna, “some of the best intentions pavethe road to hell.” Maleficent also served as a role model that revenge never gets you anywhere, because, as they say, darkness never casts out darkness, but leaves more people blind. If yu have not seen this movie, please take the time to do so. If you find yourself, like me, a lover of fairies, pixies, and enchantment, you will find yourself immersed in the fantastical world that can eerily echo real life. Lets face it, how could a villain be so easily disliked, if their story, or motivation, didn’t somehow stem from someone’s real life misfortune of encountering the person they are created after? Thesame thing holds true for Prince Charming, how could we fall head over heels for the ultimate e hero, if there was not true heroism in real life?

The other motion picture that I was blessed to see recently was The Fault in our Stars. And yes, indeed, there was a hero, a Prince Charming.  unfortunately, the villain was a villain that thrives and takes lives relentlessly and viciously, regardless of sex, age, ethnicity, or religious belief. It can inflict its torture and misfortune on all walks of life, even our beloved fur babies, or pets. This  villain is known as cancer.  Yes, cancer is the ultimate villain. But, this move is not about cancer. It is about the heroes and heroines that fight against this villain with bravery, humility, tenacity and heart. Fault  in our Stars was also a fantasy that stemmed from a real girl’s battle with cancer and, indeed, the villain robbed her of a chance to fall in love or or even ever have a boyfriend, and yet, it was one of her greatest dreams to experience a prince. So, over a series of interviews, she discussed what she thought being in love could have been like. The story details her idea of what falling in love would have been like,  and this dream became a reality, as it graces the screen in the “Fault in our Stars” motion picture. From both movies, with little self-reflection, an audience member can walk away with understanding the importance of continuing to fight with bravery, and above everything else, pursue love, because after all, love can conquer all. Conquering does not mean that it cures the cancer, or that it defeats whatever other villain you’re facing, but love conquers because it allows the spirit to transcend circumstances and it provides strength for the soldiers that follow in its footsteps. If we all take the time to acknowledge our villain-like moments, and truly desire to have more moments of being the “good guy” or “good girl,” then we will be given endless opportunities to make our real lives more of a fairy tale. This does not mean that our life will be free of villains, like cancer, but our life will have meaning, and inspire others to continue fighting their battles,  in the hopes of preventing a war or more casualties. It is important to honor our own story, while keeping in mind, that our story itself is not what’s most important. What’s most important is using our own story as a Springboard to inspire and help others with their journey. The plot may not be the same, but the gems of wisdom learned along the way, can be beneficial across all stories. And, the more we embrace each other’s story, the more it becomes a unified version, which, indeed, brings life into the idea that we are all the villain and the hero, trying to find our happy ending in the story of Life.

Spiritual Infusion, a Creative Dance

Saturday, October 26th, 2013

My life has been a whirlwind of spiritual connection and creative bliss. I have been blessed to have the most incredible interactions with clients, both as connecting to the divine for psychic guidance as well as mediumship and uniting clients with their loved ones in spirit. Recently, as per my request, many of you have been sending me questions through Tumblr, YouTube, twitter and Facebook, about spirituality. And I know, for several blogs now, I’ve been saying that I will begin filming the answers. Unfortunately, I’ve been falling behind with the filming of Psychic in your Pocket, because other creative endeavors have been taking precedence. So I’ll take this opportunity in the blog to answer some of your questions.

Someone asked how I know where the information I receive during readings is coming from. I always know that psychic information is coming from the divine because I have been receiving this information since I was four and intuitive information from the Divine is always of the highest integrity and promotes someone’s safety, well-being and highest good even if it is not always the easiest to hear. My guide, Robin, first came to me at the age of four, and explained that she was from heaven, and that she would be my heavenly partner through life. I see her as I would see anyone I was looking at, although she is slightly translucent and she will often give me physical sensations that she’s around rather than fully materializing because that takes more energy.  sometimes, she will give me a sensation on my arm or brush my face, or I will feel supported behind me and I know that this is her, because it is always a warm, gentle energy. If she means business and really needs to get my attention, she will materialize and show me her wings. She has a huge wing span, and dark chocolate-brown hair, olive-toned skin, dark brown eyes, that feel as though they are looking through you, and she has been with me for 42 lifetimes. It is my understanding that we can have different guides for different lifetimes. But, sometimes a guide will be assigned to us for several lifetimes, to help us through different experiences creating our spiritual evolution process. Therefore, Robin,  obviously knows my spirit very well, and insistently but humbly requested from G-d, before I was born into this life,  that I acknowledge and know of her existence in this lifetime. Thankfully, that makes using my spiritual gifts easier, and somewhat unique, because of the  close bond that I share with Robin which is a constant companion and, indeed, a a partnership made in heaven.

I also tend to have psychic visions where I see what is happening in the near future as it relates to clients as well as people who I care about on a personal level. I have a strong, extensive symbolic vocabulary because of the intimacy and growing up withRobin. She helped me understand what different images or symbols mean. Of course, such is life, I am continually learning, and that vocabulary continues to grow as I interact with different people and experience things for the first time but I love the opportunity to evolve and grow.

As I mentioned before, lately, I have been very focused on creative projects involving writing for both television and film/media. This has always been a deep passion of mine, and one of my bachelors degrees is in theater production with an emphasis on creative writing. It is my philosophy that some of the best ways to inform people about god, Spirit, love, the afterlife, heaven, energy, anything, really, is through entertainment, because it is a platform where our heart is Open to receive vibrations that embrace enjoyment or relaxation, while activating the intellect is an added bonus. I can not wait to share more about these projects with you in the upcoming months. And I would ask if you don’t already, please “like” my fan page, follow me on twitter and Tumblr, as having a increase on social media following, will help me get the funding to get these projects up and running. I will also continue to serve my followers by offering free readings once a month on these platforms.

Another question I was recently asked was how I know when I’m speaking to  someone’s loved one in Spirit. this is rather a simple answer, I can see spirit before me in an outline form and as they come closer to me,for a period of time, the energy gets stronger and I can hear them more clearly, as well as sometimes see them more clearly. Then, after reaching  the optimal amount of strength during our interaction, the energy starts to become weaker until they are no longer visually there, but that doesn’t mean that they are not there. It just means the energy is not strong enough to allow them to materialize, but I know that I’m talking to someone in Spirit because I hear or see them and often they show up hours before I connect with the client who they are related to. Sometimes they talk to me by using symbols, similarly to how I receive psychic information, because it takes less energy to show me an image rather than try to be heard.also the reading can go so much faster because I already have an extensive symbolic vocabulary, the dialogue happens very rapidly and allows them to communicate more, given that there’s only an limited amount of time that they can come through strongly.

The other question that came in recently that was thought-provoking and fitting for this blog was what do I love more, doing my readings, or being creative through writing and music. For me, being creative is also a spiritual experience, so I don’t prefer readings over creativity or vice versa, because the divine energy is present through all the experiences. Creativity is more of an intimate connection with Spirit, for me personally, that activates healing, and a sense of expression and freedom that I feel from nothing else, and when creative projects are then shared, it is my hope that the healing I experienced will benefit others, although it will be healing in a way that more closely relates to their situation. Writing and music is a very organic process and often can feel like nurturing like a  mother nurtures a child, or a newborn baby. Inspiration wakes you up in the middle of the night, can hit you when least expected and often deprives you of sleep, but the joy and the result of that deprivation, is irreplaceable. Doing readings is also an intimate experience, but it is shared immediately between Spirit, myself, the client and their loved ones. The Vibration for  both activities is very high and definitely comes from a source greater than myself, but they are both beautifully different and equally appreciated. The main ingredient that’s needed for any spiritual experience whether it be through readings or creating, is trust. You have to trust that what you are receiving is exactly what is needed, while understanding that, yes, you are the instrument, or messenger, but the outcome and source does not come from you, but something that created you and therefore is intrinsically part of you. Wen you fully embrace trust, it allows you to be kind and help others. Because you realize that there’s enough divine energy, love and inspiration to be shared and experienced by all in each of our organic ways, and all of our input and unique way of expression and sharing these gifts are needed. So, don’t be afraid to help someone shine their light. Light never casts out light but only makes the beam brighter. Be proud of what you do, and who you are,  but in that pride take steps to share and be kind, realizing that the more light we have in the world, the clearer we an see that love is all that matters.

Understanding karma

Friday, October 11th, 2013

Sometimes it is so difficult when our heart dreams of following a certain path, and you try so hard, to do your part in your relationship with G-d, to accomplish these dreams. There will always be other people who pass judgment on why you’ve made these choices or why you’ve had these dreams, or whether or not you’ll be successful. you have to respect other people’s opinions enough to let them be, but respect yourself enough to recognize that at the end of the day, they are only opinions, and G-d is the only one who knows what will become a truth.

Another thing I’ve been thinking about a lot is karma and I actually addressed this topic in my radio show last night. One of my teachers defined karma as an energetic signature. Everything that we do has energetic imprint that is left in the universe, whether it be our actions, words, even thoughts, and with each of these interactions with the universe or others, we are either in line with the divine energy, functioning as the spirit we are, or functioning at a lower vibration that resonates more with our physical incarnation rather than our true spirit. Most of us function somewhere in between, doing things that help us on our spiritual path ,while also making choices that resonate with our need to live in the physical dimension, and that is okay. It is important to be conscious of the fact that all interactions carry energy. At the end of the day, we want more check marks that align with living spiritually, rather than feeling drawn to live life catering to the ego, which is strongly attached to our physical incarnation.

For as long as I can remember, I have wanted to be part of Hollywood, and, so often, people say that it is my ego driving this desire. I am human and, of course, the idea of having financial abundance and recognition, is appealing ,but in no way, do these perks drive me with such passion to be in the industry. My desire stems from wanting to make the world better, serving as an advocate for other disabled individuals, and using the platform that comes along with being in the public eye, to make changes and spread love to all walks of life, all over the world. I have no desire to be an actress or a singer, although I have had training in both of these areas. My passion is writing, sharing my journey, inspiring others to overcome whatever challenges this physical world presents, recognizing that, in essence, it is our spirit that is most important and can Overcome the obstacles in the physical existence when we recognize that the Divine vibration is so much stronger and higher than the physical. It is only after facing obstacles and overcoming them, that you can use your story, to glorify the power of G-d, and help others who may be facing similar challenges and need inspiration to keep moving forward. Humor is also a great tool to help educate and motivate people to carry on. My heart’s dream is to share comedy that embraces spirituality, while maintaining integrity and respect for universal principles that can help in everyday living. Sometimes when blocks occur, in reaching my Hollywood dreams, I understand that there are karmic blessings and delays that occur, so that everything

Unfolds in perfect timing. Even So, understanding karma is still one of the most complex and continual learning processes that we face living in this physical existence known as Life.
